Aka, your biz bestie, and the one who's going to help you build a business that makes sense.
But before any of that, let me tell you how I got here, because it wasn't a straight line. It never is...
Eight years ago, I came home to New Zealand after a stint in the Australian mining world, ready for my next thing. What I got instead was a lot of "you're overqualified for New Zealand." Not quite the welcome home I'd pictured.
So I did what I do. I pivoted. I took myself online, backed the skills I already had, and started building. And honestly? Being told I didn't fit the box was the best thing that could've happened, because it made me a master of the pivot. My business has been quietly reinventing itself ever since, because I have. I've learned that's not a flaw. That's just growth.
For a long time I built the way you're "supposed" to. Push harder, do more, be everywhere. Then a season of surgery and recovery took the choice away from me. I had to slow down. And in that forced quiet, I realised I didn't want a business that only worked when I could run myself into the ground. I wanted one that fit my life, not one my life had to bend around.
That's where Biz Bestie Club came from. Everything I do now is built on that one idea: a business that makes sense, at a pace that's actually human.

You don't need to do more, be louder, or be everywhere at once.
You don't need to have it all figured out, or be five steps ahead of where you are.
You're allowed to build this in the pockets of time you have, at the pace that fits your real life. That's not doing it wrong. That's doing it sustainably.
When I'm not building, I'm a homeschooling mum of two here in Southland, doing most of my "adult brain" work after bedtime.
That's genuinely why I do this: for an identity alongside motherhood, not instead of it, and to build the best possible life for my kids.
It's all for them in the long run.
I'm also a bit of a closet prepper. Deep in my sourdough era, forever fermenting organic veggies, and one day I will learn to can. I've got a daily tug-of-war going between buying a homestead and seeing the whole world, and I've made peace with not resolving it just yet.
Underneath all of it is one thing: I want to build a life I don't need a holiday from. To be genuinely present across the parts that matter, biz, mum, wife, and let them intertwine, with clear boundaries holding it all together.
If any of this feels like your kind of thing, then you're my kind of person. Come find your feet inside Biz Bestie Club, or just come say hi. Either way, I'm so glad you're here. 🧡

P.S. If no one's told you lately: the life and the business you want aren't too big, and you're not too late for them. You're right on time for your version. And I'm right here when you're ready.
